The responsibility for pharmacovigilance is shared by all those who in some way deal with the drug: the pharmaceutical industry, medical representatives, health authorities, health professionals and the patient. The reporting of adverse effects contributes to the increase of knowledge about medicines and enables measures to be taken to minimize risks by making their use safer.
