Adults:
- Vitamin D-resistant hypophosphatemic osteomalacia: 2–4 sachets daily.
- In all cases, doses must be individualized and guided by serum phosphorus levels.
Children under 5 years of age:
- Vitamin D-resistant rickets: 1–2 sachets daily.
- In all cases, doses must be individualized and guided by serum phosphorus levels.
Use in adults over 65 years of age:
- Do not exceed 4 sachets per day.
- Dissolve in half a glass of water.
- It may also be dissolved in broths, purées, or soups.
- Stir until completely dissolved.
- Drink slowly in small sips.
- Do not exceed 4 sachets per day.
- Each sachet contains 3.56 g of sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate.
- One 3.56 g sachet of Fosfato NM provides 799 mg of phosphorus and 25.8 mmol (589.03 mg) of sodium.
